Today I went onto the website, www.mymedicare.gov, to check when I would be receiving my new medicare card.  Since it had been a few months since I had been on the website, I was surprised at how much information was available to me there. 

If you have not enrolled on this site, you really should do so. Right now it appears that only about four states in the Northeast are in the process of receiving the new cards. I think I read that Social Security has over 50 million cards to print and mail in the next year.
